Plan for the Wildlife Allotment |

| General principles: wildlife reserve to be cultivated organically. Plants to be restricted to native species. Paths: log slices within a bed of bark chippings held in place by wood edging. Hide: open-sided shed with cut-out viewing slots. |
Boggy area: butyl membrane to retain moisture. Pond: butyl membrane separate from boggy area; 60cm deep at the centre with gently sloping edges for planting and animal access. Meadow: mown path for access and contrast with mature dry meadow. |
Bramble patch: hedgehog shelters to be placed beneath existing brambles. Warning signs: Danger pond. No access for unsupervised children. Do not pick flowers or disturb plants. |
