General principles: wildlife reserve to be cultivated organically. Plants to be restricted to native species.

Paths: log slices within a bed of bark chippings held in place by wood edging.

Hide: open-sided shed with cut-out viewing slots.

Boggy area: butyl membrane to retain moisture.

Pond: butyl membrane separate from boggy area; 60cm deep at the centre with gently sloping edges for planting and animal access.

Meadow: mown path for access and contrast with mature dry meadow.

Bramble patch: hedgehog shelters to be placed beneath existing brambles.

Warning signs: Danger pond. No access for unsupervised children. Do not pick flowers or disturb plants.
