Number One Allotment

Duke's Meadows

 

The Mayor of Hounslow, Councillor Felicity Barwood, visited the Duke's Meadows allotment site in Chiswick on 18 October 2006 to open a greenhouse for gardeners with learning disabilities.

 

The greenhouse is part of the Number One Allotment project organised by the Chiswick Horticultural and Allotment Society in partnership with the Hounslow Learning Disability Service.

 

 

The Number One Allotment gardening team with the Henniker Cup for the highest total points in the vegetable classes which they were awarded at the 2006 Autumn Show (together with the RHS Banksian Medal). Click here for further photos.
