Care:
2 yr seedlings. Planted in double row for extra density, planted at 30cm spacing (5 plants per metre), 30cm from surrounding fences. Water in and mulch. Water during first year. Underplant with woodland bulbs and flowers.
Maintenance: Cut back half every year to leave cover. Aiming for minimum height 1.6m. After 10 years, lay or coppice.
